Shichi-Go-San

Shichi-go-san is a traditional Japanese event that celebrates the healthy growth of children. In ancient Japan, children were considered "gifts from the gods" up until the age of seven, and because medical care was underdeveloped, children's growth was considered special. Shichi-go-san is a ceremony held at each milestone when a child reaches the ages of three, five, and seven, to establish the soul in this world and pray for health and longevity.

Every year around November 15th, children dress up in their finest attire and the Shichi-Go-San ceremony is held.

Ichirindo offers the highest quality tsumami zaiku, hoping for the healthy growth of children.
