[Basic course]
Over a total of nine sessions, you will learn the basics of traditional tsumami zaiku crafts using starch glue.
You can take the course in Tokyo, Osaka, Saitama, Chiba, and online.

Beginner course
This is a course for beginners of Tsumami Zaiku. Even first-timers can apply.

① Shichi-Go-San (3 years old) Flower making (1st time)
You can learn the basic techniques of "maru-tsumami," "ken-tsumami," and "norikone."
② Shichi-Go-San (3 years old) Flower making (2nd time)
You can learn how to make the basic "round knob overlap roofing," "leaf" and "sagari" techniques.
③ Shichigosan (3 years old) "Assembling"
You can learn how to "assemble" hair accessories.

② Shichi-Go-San (7 years old) Flower making (2nd time)

③ Shichigosan (7 years old) "Kumiage"

This course is for those who have completed Intermediate ①②③.

① Coming-of-age ceremony hair ornaments (first flower making)
You can learn about "Marudan Kiku" (round chrysanthemum) in Ichigoe Chirimen and "Sagari" (sagging) and "Ha" (leaves) in 4 momme Habutae fabric.
② Coming-of-Age Ceremony Hair Ornament (Second Time Making Flowers)
You can learn "Kenkasane" (sword layering), "Maru 3-tiered layering" and "Marutsumami" using 4 momme Habutae fabric.
3. Coming-of-Age Ceremony Hair Ornament "Kumiage"
You will learn how to "assemble a comb" and "make a U-pin."

[Habutae Course]
Learn various ways to express yourself using habutae silk, an essential part of traditional "Edo Tsumami Kanzashi"
This course is for those who have completed Advanced ①②③.
You can take the course in Tokyo, Osaka, Saitama, Chiba, and online.

① Round pleats and fabric cutting
We will cut a large piece of white habutae fabric (4 momme) and learn how to make soft, round pleats.

② Koshin rose, square rose, ball rose
Learn about three types of roses.

3. Lilies, clematis, and chrysanthemums
You will learn three variations of the sword knob.

④ Cherry blossoms, bellflowers, pansies, and 3 types of buds
You will learn six variations of round knobs and three cute buds.

⑤ Pine, bamboo, plum
You will learn six different pinching methods and wire roofing (bamboo).

⑥ Crane
Learn how to make a three-dimensional crane.

⑦ Wisteria
You will learn how to use the wire for wisteria decorations and how to lay them directly.

⑧ Round and sword-shaped chrysanthemums
Learn to make two types of dan chrysanthemums.

⑨ Medicine ball
Learn how to make medicine balls.

We will make three sizes of Koshin roses and three types of fruit balls.
② "Assembly"
Make the leaves out of wire and combine the flowers and fruit to make a head dress. -

③ "First time making flowers"
Of the three-piece set, this one mainly produces flowers for horizontal cuttings.
④ "Second time flower making"
Of the three-piece set, this is mainly for making front-cut flowers.
⑤ "Assembly"
The finished flower, sagari, and bira are then assembled into three kanzashi.
[Tsumami Zaiku Association Classes]
The Tsumami Zaiku Association has two classes, one in Western Japan and one in Eastern Japan.
You can learn with peace of mind in classrooms taught by selected certified instructors and special instructors.
