"Kuramae" Coming-of-Age Ceremony Tiered Chrysanthemum Set of 2 *Ichirindo Signature Model

This traditional Edo Tsumami Kanzashi is made from specially dyed habutae silk fabric (4 momme, a unit of weight) in traditional colors. The fabric is extremely thin and woven using the "Nureyoko" technique, which has been passed down for generations in the Kawamata region of Fukushima Prefecture. The "Dangiku" (tiered chrysanthemum) created with the pointed petal technique expresses powerful vitality through its delicate overlapping petals. This is a 2-piece set, with magnificent dangiku on both pieces. The set allows for various arrangements with additional parts such as sagari (dangling ornaments) and bira (fluttering strips).
