This comb-style hair ornament has a sharp look, assembled using only the "tsumami" (pointed fold) technique, which is fundamental to tsumami zaiku (fabric flower making), and crafted from "Kawamata Habutae" silk fabric woven with the traditional "Nureyoko" technique passed down in the Kawahaba region of Fukushima Prefecture.
Since it is styled in only two colors, it can be used not only with furisode kimonos but also widely with yukata when worn alone, or with hakama for graduation ceremonies when combined with separately sold ribbons like "Haremushubi."
