Newm's feet

This is the metal base part of the kanzashi, called the "ashi" (leg).
By adding decorations to the top part, you can create your own original kanzashi.
This type of foot is also used in the hairpins worn by maiko, and is perfect for creating a long, solitary vertical style.
It is perfect for adding dangling decorations and beads to create a gorgeous look.

The material is aluminum, which makes it very light and easy to handle. It doesn't feel heavy when worn on the head, and is recommended for long-term use. Although it is made of metal, it is soft, so it is easy to bend with pliers or create holes.
