Habutae dyeing kit with video (4 ink colors)

We will be releasing a kit with a video that explains how to use the popular "Suzuka Color Ink."
Until now, colored ink dyeing has only been done in classes, but an increasing number of artists are incorporating dyeing into tsumami zaiku, and I'm sure many of you have seen it on social media and thought, "I'd like to try it myself."

However, when it comes to dyeing fabric, some people may feel that it is a bit intimidating or difficult, and may be hesitant to do so.
We asked Matsumoto-sensei from Ichirindo Hanare (Fukuoka), who has extensive experience in colored ink dyeing, to supervise the project.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll find it fun!
The video also shows dyeing of tassels and dyeing using an airbrush.

At Ichirindo, we have a special ink liquid made with a consistent concentration of "Suzuka Ink," a traditional craft of Mie Prefecture, for dyeing.
Suzuka ink, a favorite of many calligraphers, not only has good color development but is also highly light-resistant, making it ideal for tsumami zaiku, which uses thin fabrics.

In this video, we ask Professor Matsumoto to introduce us to the key points of "tap-dyeing," a method that is suitable for habutae dyeing.
